Utah DOT Crash Data
Centerville's Most Dangerous Roads
Parrish Lane accounts for 511 of the 1,486 crashes UDOT recorded on Centerville's streets between January 1, 2018 and August 4, 2025, more than a third. Only 4 of them were serious or fatal, and none was deadly. The city's fatal street crashes happened elsewhere: on Main Street, the Frontage Road and Legacy Parkway.
The page draws on every crash in UDOT's public file located within Centerville's limits from January 1, 2018 through August 4, 2025, the most recent date available. Each crash is placed on the street where it was plotted, with the road named in the officer's report breaking close calls. I-15 and its ramps are counted apart, Legacy Parkway is included in the street total without a rank, and parking-lot crashes are excluded from street figures. Serious or fatal means a reported death or suspected serious injury.
Centerville had 2,568 crashes in all. 1,029 were on I-15 or its ramps, 40.1% of the total, nearly double the 21.4% across the seven counties in this data. 36 were on private property and 17 lacked a usable location, leaving 1,486 street crashes. 27 were serious or fatal (1.8%, against 2.6% regionally) and 5 people died. Some injury, including possible injury, was reported in 24.3%; only five of the 57 cities measured report injury less often.
Parrish Lane: A Third of the Crashes, Few Serious Injuries
Parrish Lane (400 North, SR-105) recorded 511 crashes, 34.4% of the street total. Three junctions on it, 400 West (107), the Frontage Road (104) and Market Place Drive (99), hold 310 of them, 60.7%. Most were side impacts (39.7%) or rear-end crashes (33.5%), and only 0.8% ended in a serious or fatal injury.
The serious crashes cluster on other roads. Main Street (SR-106) had 6 serious or fatal crashes and 1 death from 259 crashes. The Frontage Road (800 West) had 3 and 1 death from just 80. Legacy Parkway, counted with the streets but not ranked, recorded 203 crashes, 7 of them serious or fatal and 3 fatal.
How Centerville's Streets Compare
Streets are listed by crashes recorded inside city limits, and only the five that reached 50 crashes appear. A crash where two listed streets meet is counted once, on the street the report names. Cross streets are each street's busiest junctions.

Utah Rules That Shape a Centerville Claim
Under Utah's no-fault rules, your own personal injury protection covers at least $3,000 of medical expenses no matter who was at fault (Utah Code § 31A-22-307). Pain and other general damages can be claimed from the driver responsible only once the injury crosses the § 31A-22-309 threshold, such as a fracture, permanent impairment or medical bills above $3,000; the threshold does not limit an uninsured motorist claim. A driver who flees and is never found is treated as uninsured (§ 31A-22-305(2)(b)). Any fault assigned to you reduces the recovery, which is available only if the others' combined fault is greater (§ 78B-5-818). Most injury cases must be filed within four years (§ 78B-2-307), while a claim that a city or UDOT road was unsafe requires written notice within one year (§ 63G-7-402). Street matching: nearest UGRC Utah Roads segment within 35 meters, with the officer's named road preferred, which agrees with the reported road about nine times in ten statewide. Serious or fatal: a reported death or suspected serious injury. Officer flags are not findings of fault. Regional comparisons use street crashes in the seven counties included. Every city we have ranked this way is listed on our statewide page, Utah’s most dangerous roads.
