Ephraim Crash Cases
Main Street turning collisions
Left turns across US-89 into businesses, churches and side streets, and cars pulling away from the curb into traffic.
Campus pedestrian and bike crashes
Students crossing around the SR-290 loop or walking to Main Street. The crosswalk location and the driver's view decide fault; see our Utah pedestrian claims guide.
Rear-end crashes between towns
On the open highway toward Manti or Mount Pleasant, where one driver slows to turn and the next does not. Section 41-6a-711 requires at least a two-second following gap in most conditions.
Farm equipment and truck collisions
Tractors, hay haulers and livestock trailers share US-89 with commuters. A commercial vehicle brings in the owner's insurance and records, which should be requested early.
Uninsured or unknown drivers
If the driver at fault had no insurance, or fled and was never found, § 31A-22-305 lets your uninsured motorist coverage pay, and the § 31A-22-309(1) injury threshold does not apply to that claim. A phantom vehicle that never touched you must be proved by clear and convincing evidence beyond your own testimony.
